About CoolSculpting
CoolSculpting is a non-surgical, fat-reduction treatment that uses controlled cooling to eliminate fat that resists efforts of removal through diet and exercise. It works by gently and effectively targeting fat cells underneath the skin. It is approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of visible fat bulges in areas of the body such as the abdomen, flank, thighs, chin, underneath the buttocks (also known as banana rolls), upper arms, male chest (pseudogynecomastia), and back areas. Treated fat cells are crystallized (frozen), causing cell death. The waste from this cell death is then naturally flushed from the body through natural elimination processes.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does the treatment take?
About 35 to 75 minutes per session. Varies depending on the treated area.
When will I see results?
You may start to see changes in as early as three weeks after the first treatment, and will see the most dramatic results after one to three months. The body will continue to naturally process the injured fat cells from the body for about four months after your procedure.
How long does the results last?
CoolSculpting freezes and permanently kills small areas of fats cells. However, it is important that you maintain a healthy diet and level of physical activity because new fat cells can grow, and weight gain will prevent you from appreciating your full results.
How much does it cost?
Treatments start at $750, but the total cost of treatment is very dependent on the area treated, the current fat in that area, and how your body reacts to the treatment. For this reason we provide a free consultation to assess your body and your goals.
